The Cannery Eureka Wedding

The Cannery Eureka

Nicole and Christopher were married at The Cannery in Eureka, IL this past September.  The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony on The Cannery’s beautifully landscaped grounds.  The venue is housed in a wonderfully restored canning factory built in 1895.

“The Main Space” is where weddings & receptions take place.  The “Grove” is a lounge area for cocktail hour.  Located in the same area as The Grove is “The Crate” which is perfect to host the rehearsal dinner.  And last but not least is “The Bridal Suite” with plenty of room for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready.

The Ceremony Decor

The outdoor ceremony decor featured jugs of pampas grass, and rugs scattered down the aisle.  At the altar area we decorated an A-Frame backdrop with a floral spray featuring pampas grass and dried palms.

The Bridal Party

We love the color palette chosen by Nikki and Chris for their bridal party.  The warm tones of rust and brown combined with neutrals blended so well with the warm brick of The Cannery.  The gorgeous fall colors enhanced the boho theme.

The bridal bouquets were designed with the oh, so gorgeous, Toffee roses.  We also used rust chrysanthemums and roses, peach ranunculus and spray roses, and pops of blue thistle and cream spray roses.  Olive leaf,  mixed eucalyptus and grevilla enhanced the flowers.

Completing the bride’s bouquet was hand-dyed silk ribbons.  A delicate floral hair clip was the final touch for the darling flower girl, daughter of the couple.

The groom’s rusty brown suite and floral tie was the perfect pop of color with the neutral groomsmen suits.  It all looked very classy in spite of the nod to the boho theme!

The Reception Decor

The reception decor was a lot of candles, green garlands and bottles of blooms.  “The Main Space” is so cozy with the warm brick walls and hanging Edison lights.

The ceremony decor was re-purposed for the lounge area, as well as to decorate other spaces for The Cannery.

See what Nikki and Chris had to say about their experience working with us:  “Everything about working with Nancy was flawless and so easy!  Our flowers were a dream and exactly what I envisioned.  We couldn’t have asked for anything better!!  Thank you so much Nancy!”
