Abby and Tyler were married this past summer at Pear Tree Estate surrounded by beautiful flowers. She and her mom were a dream to work with as they both love flowers and wanted the flowers to be an important part of the wedding ambiance for everyone to enjoy!
Pear Tree Estate is one of our favorite venues to deliver to and they are very good at flipping the room from ceremony to reception enabling the couple to get double use from all of their floral décor. Read on to see how the ceremony pieces were re-used at the reception.
Abby chose a romantic, feminine mix of blush, pink and white blooms for her wedding bouquet. The White O’hara garden roses and the blush stock flower made the space smell so good as both of these flowers are very strongly scented.
Abby was so excited about her flowers and loved how they turned out. It was a joy to get to create her gorgeous floral vision for her wedding flowers, and an honor for us to be invited to the reception. We never turn down an invitation to enjoy L&A Gourmet Catering’s delicious food.
It warmed our heart to see the love between this couple, their family and guests. It was very special also for us to see some of our former couples in attendance also as guests!
The Flowers
Abby chose a light pink shade of dresses for her bridesmaids. We used a mix of blush and white roses, along with seasonal fillers and textures, in the bridal bouquets so that the bouquets stood out against the deeper shade of the dresses in these lovely wedding photos.
The navy and pink wedding palette has been very popular over the past few years and we love how the blush flowers in the boutonniere create a beautiful contrast to the navy.
We decorated Pear Tree’s gold circle arch with greens and flowers to create a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. Because the ceremony and reception were both at Pear Tree Estate, it was easy to reuse the ceremony floral decorations to decorate the reception tables.
A lush dramatic wedding aisle was created with flat floral trays and tall Harlow Stand Floral Designs.
After the ceremony we moved the floral trays to the head table to create a lush floral garland. The tall arrangements were moved from the Harlow stands to glass trumpet vases on the round tables to create a beautiful reception ambiance and fill in the space between the table and the tall ceilings at Pear Tree Estates.
The “Big Wow” was the 12 foot hanging floral ring over the dance floor which made for a fun night of dancing! The floral ring ceremony arch served as a lounge area backdrop during the reception for guests to enjoy.
