Peach and blue wedding flowers

Jun 27, 2024 | Floral Design

Peach is the Pantone 2024 “Color of the Year”, so when we were choosing flowers for the annual tasting at Pear Tree Estates, we knew we wanted to incorporate the color peach.  We added light blue flowers for a lovely contrast, and then included soft yellow, soft orange and vintage pink to add excitement and round out the color scheme.

Triple Wedding Arch

The Backdrop

Our newest item at Fancy Florals By Nancy is our Soprano Triple Arch, which made it the perfect choice to incorporate this new structure with peach and blue wedding flowers for an unforgettable ceremony backdrop.  We had planned to cover the frame with wild smilax vine, but alas, when we pulled the vine out of the box, most of the leaves fell off and we were left with mostly vine.  We couldn’t be too sad thought since we had so many fantastic flowers to place on the arch. Also adding to the romantic ambiance of the backdrop were several assorted sizes of cylinders with candles.

Garden Rose Bouquet in Peach and Blue

Peach and Blue Bridal Bouquet

We were so excited to design a bridal bouquet with peach and blue wedding flowers.  We used a range of peach color with Juliet, Free Spirit and Phoenix garden roses.  The warm yellow of Caramel Antique and the vintage pink of Romantic Antique garden roses added to the peach hues and with the contrast of light blue delphinium it made the other colors pop.

Aisle Decor

Tall floor arrangements were placed at the back of the chairs on either side of the aisle.  The peach and blue wedding flowers in these arrangements consisted of light blue hydrangeas which created a perfect contrast to the soft orange, peach and soft yellow garden roses.  Tall cylinders with candles on either side of the floor arrangements completed the romantic look and feel of the event.

The Sweetheart Table

Peach and blue wedding flowers again were the star of the show for our sweetheart table decor.  A peach runner set the stage for the tall blue candles and bud vases of mixed blooms on the table.  A grand focal point hung over the table was our Ovation Hangar decorated so beautifully with flowers and candles.  Wouldn’t you love to sit under this gorgeous arrangement during your wedding reception with all eyes on you!?

Reception Table Decor

We used a mix of tall, medium and low centerpiece arrangements to decorate the reception tables.  The peach and blue wedding flowers in the centerpieces added a colorful vibe to the whole venue.  Half of the round tables had our tall candelabras placed in the center and decorated with flowers and tall blue candles.  A few vines of wild smilax meandered down the candelabra adding to the romance. The other round tables had our low compote bowls filled with peach and blue flowers with accents of soft yellow and vintage pink for a delightful and romantic look.  On the rectangle tables we used our medium candelabras on each end, with a compote design in the center.  Filling in on the long tables were bud vases of assorted blooms and gold votive candles.
